Each person heals differently, but this process usually takes between three and six months. Once your jawbone has fused with the implant screw, the third appointment takes place, where you receive a crown to cap the implant, completing your replacement tooth. That crown is matched in shape and color to be almost indistinguishable from your other natural teeth.
